How Much Is My Face Worth? ♡

Hello lovelies!

As I started writing this blog post, I thought I would quickly check the date of my last post which to my amazement was the beginning of October?! I only have a small following but for those who read my blog, I'm sorry! The last few months have been so jam-packed with a new little venture/project I've been working really hard on which some may have seen on my facebook page. But I will definitely write a whole post on it & add photos.

For today's post, I'm going to be rooting around my makeup bag and adding up how much my face is worth with all the makeup products I use. There's no denying that I like my highend makeup brands, but since being married I've had to budget what items NEED to be highend, and by need, I mean my equivalent to want ;) but I haven't gone without as drugstore makeup is really upping it's anty (I think that's the phrase?)

My makeup bag is from Ted Baker but we won't add that into the pricing :) I have a good mixture of products from all different price ranges and the items that have stuck with me ever since I got them are my Mac eyeshadows, apart from that, I change up things fairly often. Not to mention my huge stash of makeup I've collected and stored.

FACE:

Makeup Forever HD Foundation - £35 (this was bought for me over in America so I have roughly exchanged into pounds)
Collection 2000 concealer in Light 2 - £4.19
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent - £3.99
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - £9.99

EYEBROWS:

Maybelline BROWdrama Sculpting Brow Mascara - £4.99
Maybelline Master Shape Eyebrow Pencil - £2.99

EYES:

Urban Decay  Primer Potion - £15 (sample but when using my full size this is what it costs)
Mac Eyeshadows in Jest, Satin Taupe, Trax & Quarry - £36 (£9 x 4)
Collection 2000 Extreme Eyeliner Pen - £2.99
Mega Volume Mascara from Maxfactor - £6.99
Mac 217 Blending Brush - £18 (this isn't included in the photos as I forgot to add it in but I use that for my eyeshadows)

LIPS:

Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Reel Drama - £15

So the grand total (drumroll please!) is: £155.13

Wow that's a lot of money, but compared to some others it isn't that huge haha!

On a daily basis, these are the products I will use including a bronzer/blusher depending on how I'm feeling but this is the definite makeup items I wear. For reference, the bronzer I use is usually the Dior one or Bourjous one & blusher is usually the elf one in Tickled Pink.

How much is your face worth? If you have done a blog post on it, please please link it in the comments as I would love to have a read!

Argan Oil Hair Treatment for only £1! | Review

Hello lovelies!

Sometimes I will find products which I just can't not tell you about such as this argan oil hair treatment which I bought for only £1! I got this from my local £1 shop and as I had been wanting to try the more expensive argan oil treatments, I thought I would give this a go for such a small price.

I think the message I more wanted to get across was that you can try an argan oil for your hair which doesn't cost a fortune and so many places, even Primark are selling little bottles. I know though at some point I will break and want to buy and try the more expensive brands but this is a great alternative.

This actual bottle doesn't have a brand which is annoying, unless it's just the 'Argan Oil' but I have been using this for over a week now which is about 3 washes of my hair.

MY METHOD:

Wash hair like usual & leave to towel or air dry. Apply a few drops to your fingertips and warm up between fingertips. Massage into tips of hair as these are usually the driest parts of hair. Then apply a few more drops to hands, warm up and scrunch into middle of hair. Avoid using near the roots if you have greasy hair like me!

This not only has an amazing smell, very clean and fresh, but it also works really well with my dry ends. I was quite amazed for £1 how well it kept my hair feeling nourished. Also when drying it leaves my hair silky smooth ;)

As this doesn't have a brand as such, I can't go into how great this exact product is unless you hop on over to your local £1 store and hunt around for it but just trying an inexpensive argan oil would be the better option!

Have you tried any inexpensive argan oil brands? What did you think of it?

Ardell Natural Style False Lashes | Beauty Review ♡

.

Hello lovelies!

I've never really been into wearing false lashes, without boasting I'm pretty happy with how a few coats of mascara looks on my lashes plus I never could get the hang of getting the darn things stuck at the correct part of my eyelid. BUT, I had been wanting to film a dramatic autumn makeup look video for my Youtube channel which I have filmed & am still editing ;) To make it more dramatic, I thought I would grab some false lashes and whilst doing the weekly shop I took a look down the beauty isle and saw a fair few false lashes at different prices. I had heard of Ardell and when I saw that a whole bunch of the natural style lashes were on sale from £5 to £3.75, I grabbed some!

As you can see from the photo above, my right eye (your left) didn't get stuck on as neatly as the first one but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. The lashes themselves come with a lash glue which was pretty good compared to previous ones I've tried, they held the lashes on securely but when a few hours later I decided to cosy down for the night I took them off without any hassle or even left over glue - ever had it where the next day the glue still won't come off? So annoying!

I used tweezers at first which as I'm so clumsy, didn't help that much so then just like blindly sticking a tale on a donkey, I managed to stick them on without much manoeuvring afterwards. The other eye though wasn't as easy but that's obviously not a reflection on Ardell's lashes, but of my ability haha.

I have found though in the past that the lashes come too long and I have to cut them down to size, but these seemed to fit me perfectly. They make my lashes look so much longer but the thing I like about them is when topped up with some mascara, my lashes look so full and I love it! I used the Max Factor Mega Volume Mascara just for reference.

One of the only down sides to these lashes would be that the lash glue doesn't have a screw-top lid, it's almost like a sachet which can't be used again so if I were to reuse them, I would have to purchase my own glue. I have heard though that Duo lash glue is meant to be good, so this could be my chance to get my hands on that!

Overall, even if I had to pay £5 for these lashes, I would still buy them and am happy with the quality, staying power, lash glue included & false lashness (if that's even a word)!

Have you tried these false lashes or any others from Ardell? What are your favourite false lashes?

Thankyou for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

My Current Skincare Routine | Clarins, Chanel & Bioderma ♡

Hello lovelies!

I have been wanting to film a 'skincare routine' video over on my Youtube channel (link here) for a while now but have never loved every step to the routine plus am wanting to add in a few beauty blogger favourites from Space NK into the mix (blog post on that here). So, I thought I would share with you what my current skincare routine consists of on my blog and update you as I try more products.

REMOVING MAKEUP: To remove my makeup, I use the Bioderma Crealine H20 (review here) on 2 cotton pads and wipe around all of my face, trying not to go to close to the eye area. Bioderma leaves my skin feeling so clean & fresh that other steps almost don't need to be done and if I'm having one of those nights where I'm shattered, I do tend to only use this, or a face wipe. Next, to remove my eye makeup I use the Clarins Gentle Eye Make-up Remover and again use 2 cotton pads, gently place them over shut eyes and leave to soak for around 10 seconds & wipe away. I don't need to work too hard at getting my usual mascara off and when wearing waterproof I leave the cotton pads to soak into my eyes a little longer. I actually purchased this item after hearing Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup raving about it.

Before I move on, I would just like to say that last night after tweeting about my Space NK Beauty Wishlist (post here), I @ tagged ViviannaMakeup's twitter & she favourited my tweet. Ok, so lets go through that one more time. Anna favourited my tweet! Am I dreaming? haha :) You can follow me on Twitter - @ashleighailsa

CLEANSING: To cleanse my face I have a daily cleanser and a more exfoliating scrub which I use 1-2 times a week. To cleanse daily I use the Clarins Energising Gel Cleanser which lathers up nicely and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean. For days when I want to exfoliate more, I opt for the Burt's Bee's Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub - wow that's a mouthful ha! I actually did a review on this product which you can find here which goes into my detail but as it contains exfoliating beads, it removes any dry skin & leaves it feeling really healthy.

TONING: Again I have 2 options to choose from depending on how my skin is feeling that day. For the more spot outbreak days, I go for my Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions toner which came in a set with a cleanser & moisturiser but I now only repurchase this item to keep my spots at bay. I should really do a review on it as it's simply amazing. On the days where my skin feels normal, I opt for the Clarins Daily Energizer Toner which is gently yet effective. When applying any toner, I use a cotton pad to sweep all over my face plus neck. You can't forget the neck.

MOISTURISING: As of yet, I haven't found a moisturiser which I absolutely love, so for now I use the Clarins Daily Energizer Moisturiser which does the job of moisturising my skin and keeping it feeling nourished, so it's not all bad for this product. It just doesn't wow me each time I use it haha. Then, for an eye cream I use a sample of Chanel's Eye Treatment which I've really been enjoying and to keep all of the goodness locked in, I apply a pea-sized amount of the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. Note to self: Do a review on this product, it's incredible. This product leaves my skin ready to apply makeup and tightens my skin a little (in a good way) whilst making it feel and look glowing.

So, apart from the sneaky Real Techniques brush in the bottom right hand corner of the photo (for effect) that's everything I try to use on a regular basis as part of my skincare routine. I would like to revamp the routine but for now, all these products do a great job of keeping my skin clean & moisturised. Stay tuned for more reviews on new products though.

Woah so many links to reviews I've done :)

Have you tried any of the products mentioned? What is your essential skincare product?

Thankyou for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Space NK Beauty Wishlist | October ♡

.

Hello lovelies!

As a blogger and Youtuber, I constantly have a list of beauty/fashion products that I would like to buy and try and at the moment, anything Space NK is floating my boat. I feel like in the beauty blogger/youtube community there is a bit of a divide with the definite Mac, Chanel (department store brands) buyers & then there's the more boutique ones who love Space NK and trying new products with organic, natural components. Obviously these both types of beauty lovers venture over into the other types. This probably doesn't make sense to a fair few reading this but hopefully to some it does haha!

Aaaanyway, I have been watching so many Space NK hauls on Youtube recently so whilst out grabbing a milkshake with the hubby, I had a quick look in Space NK and found myself oogling all the products I had seen spoken or written about for a good 20 minutes. Only thing is, every item has a high-end price tag and deciding which few items I wanted to go for first was harder than I thought.

So, I thought I would put together a beauty wishlist and slowly but surely start ticking them off  my list as I buy them! Most of them are skincare related as ViviannaDoesMakeup does an amazing job at making me want to update my 'makeup wipes, cleanser if I'm lucky & moisturiser routine'.

Lets get started....

1. Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm - £34
I have wanted to try this product for soo long as it has been raved about by so many of my favourite youtubers/bloggers, can't wait to get my hands on this and start having lovely skin!

2. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler - £20
I have never really been into curling my eyelashes and forever ago bought one from Elf, used it a few times and forgot about but I now somehow need this eyelash curler in my life? Haha. Everyone also raves on about this tool and I fancy trying it.

3. Oribe Dry Texturising Spray - £18
Recently, this hair product has gone crazy over the internet, I haven't seen anyone NOT talking about it and as my hair is long and can look limp when straightened, I thought this could be a possible helping product. You can get this in full size for about £38 ish I think but until I find out how much I like it, I think I will just go for the smaller version.

4. Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder - £35
Ok, so I like a little bit of bronzer every now and then, and I'm finally getting the hang of contouring, kind of. So thought this product  could be great at sculpting my face and I have heard all great things.

5. Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - £20
Ever since watching Missglamorazzi on Youtube, I have seen her talking about this eye cream and how creamy it is and I haven't really ever used a eye cream regularly and tried this out whilst in store and definitely need it in my life.

6. Sarah Chapman Professional Cleansing Mitts - £12
These are meant to be very similar to the Emma Hardie muslin cloths but easier to use plus warm up when being used so looking forward to using the cleansing balm with them.

7. Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil - £26
Again, never really doing much to my eyebrows, I thought this product looked great as a starter as it has a brush on the end plus the product itself is the colour and wax together.

You can see why buying all of these lovely items at once would mean not eating for a week, or even 2 haha, slowly but surely though I will get round to trying these and I'm really excited to be able to try them all!

Do you have any of these products? What do you think of them?

Let me know by commenting down below, it would mean so much to me! Also, what is your wishlist from Space NK?

Thankyou for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Xenca Perfection Concealer | Beauty Review ♡

Hello lovelies!

I don't think I have ever found an everyday makeup routine where I love every single product that I use.  Either the mascara is amazing and the foundation is ok etc and I haven't written this blog post to tell you I've found the perfect everyday routine BUT I have found an amazing concealer.

This is where Xenca's Perfection Concealer* comes in. If you watch my Youtube videos (link here) you will have seen my new 'get ready with me' videos where I rave on about how great this concealer is and so I thought I would do a review on it.

.

Does it do what a concealer is meant to do?
Yes. There are different types of concealers, some say they cover dark circles, others say they cover up blemishes and redness but after switching this up for my Collection 2000 concealer for the last few weeks, I can honestly say I love it. Not only does it do a great job of concealing my dark circles (especially in the morning) but it brightens up eye area and I use it on any redness or spots that I may have and it covers them up without leaving a cakey look.

Consistency & Formulation
The consistency is very creamy and thick but doesn't have a heavy feel on the skin. A little goes a long way and after applying I use a powder to set it and I'm off. It sets to a light-weight, flawless finish and doesn't crease at all. It almost sinks into the skin and becomes one which sounds a little over the top but you seriously need to try it to believe it.

.

Long-wearing Factors
Like I said in the last section, after applying it, I set it with a powder and it doesn't budge all day. Compared to any high-end or drugstore concealer it stays on till early evening usually. By this time, a touch-up might be required but for the look it gives you, it is definitely worth it.

Colour Range
Xenca currently only have this concealer in one shade - Medium. This colour as you can see in the photos is quite light so for most skin tones it will be great but if you have a darker complexion and want to try this product out, it may be an idea to mix this one with a different colour or set it with a darker powder.

Similarities to any other products?
I don't usually add anything to do with similarity but I have and use the Bobbi Brown creamy concealer and think this Xenca concealer is so similar in how it performs, looks and feels which I guess at a fraction of the price is great!

.

Where can you buy it from?
Currently you can only buy it online  - http://www.mincollxenca.co.uk/ for £13.95 which for an incredibly creamy, full coverage concealer isn't that expensive!

Overall, I can't say enough great things about this concealer, it has everything you would want and need in a concealer (full coverage, long lasting and creamy). I'm really impressed and I'm going to give their concealer a 5/5. Out of all of their products, this is by far my favourite!

Have any of you tried Xenca's concealer? What did you think?

Thankyou for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

Xenca Perfection Lipstick in Candy | Beauty Review ♡

Hello lovelies!

Today's blog post is going to a review on Xenca's Perfection Lipstick in the colour 'Candy' which I have been obsessed with recently. I actually did a makeup tutorial featuring this lipstick over on my Youtube channel if you wanna check it out - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NBWXW1j2H8&feature=c4-overview&list=UUBQGC7MC1uaAYb9JR_dcSYw

So, before I get started into the colour and packaging of this product, I wanted to point out that all of Xenca's products are organic, which to most beauty lovers out there, including myself is fairly hard to find whilst also having great pigmentation, long-wearing factors and general niceness but ladies I think I've found the perfect organic makeup brand which won't cost you a second mortgage but will look fab in your makeup bag as well as perform great for your skin and overall makeup look!

Xenca currently have 4 shades of lipstick in their Perfection line including Cherry, Spice, Fudge and Candy which I will be reviewing today.

For each of their lipsticks they use the slogan - 'A superior formulation that glides on smoothly, protects, conditions and combines staying power with perfect colour performance', and to be honest, what more would you want out of a lipstick?

Consistency & Long-Lasting Factors

At first glance, I wasn't sure whether the lipstick was going to be similar to a Mac lustre or cremesheen but at first swatch, it turned out to be mixture of both. The texture is creamy yet gives off a shimmery look when applied to the lips. It feels moisturising and doesn't dry out your lips like many lipsticks do. When wearing this throughout the day, I found the colour to stay on my lips for a good few hours before having to reapply but even then it didn't completely all come off, after leaving it for a lot longer on the lips, it starts to become a stain like product which is perfect for an evening out when you don't want to keep applying.

            Formulation

When looking on Xenca's website, it gives you a full breakdown of ingredients in the lipstick such as shea butter, sweet almond oil and beeswax which are all natural and great for nourishing the lips. They aren't tested on animals and are 100% organic.

Colour pay off & Finish

In my Youtube tutorial, where I use this lipstick amongst other products, I mention that the colour is a bright pink but also a wearable nude shade so is basically in between both bright and nude. The colour pay off from seeing the colour in the tube to wearing it is almost exact. It isn't sheer at all and give a full pink lip without having to apply much to the lips which means its an easy 'I'm in a rush' colour to put on whilst on the go. The finish is creamy with a toned down shimmery look and is just perfect for using in the day or night.

Packaging

The packaging is eco-friendly with its recycled materials such as vegetable dye. The design of the packaging is very sturdy and when applying the lipstick it feels secure. Also one thing that many lipsticks fail on is the actual lipstick not twisting down all the way, meaning the lid each time can take away edge of lipstick BUT this lipstick doesn't do that which is a major plus.

Where can you buy it from?

You can buy it from Xenca's website - http://www.mincollxenca.co.uk/ and they are priced at £11.95 which for an organic, long-lasting and moisturising lipstick with great colour ranges is a pretty good price.

Overall, I can't say enough great things about this lipstick, it has everything you would want and need in a lipstick for both day time or night time and I'm really impressed. I have been trying a few of Xenca's makeup items recently, and as a brand they have really thought about their customers needs and I'm going to give their lipsticks a 4 and a half /5!!

Have any of you tried Xenca's lipsticks? What did you think?

Thankyou for reading and I hope you enjoyed!

3 Minute Makeup Challenge! ♡

Hello lovelies!

Wow, it's been like 16 days since my last post on this blog, times flies! Through getting married, jetting off to Mexico for our honeymoon and moving house, there has been little or no time left for my love for Youtube and blogging and a few days ago (after searching for my camera charger plus trying to unlock my SD card through my computer, by the way for those who didn't know like me, its a little switch on the side of the card) I finally sat down to film the 3 Minute Makeup Challenge! Yay! It was a challenge just finding my equipment but hey ho atleast I filmed, edited and uploaded it and it is now up on my Youtube channel!

I wasn't sure whether to do the 3 or 5 minute challenge as they are both floating around Youtube at the moment. I went with the 3 minute one as I don't do my eyebrows  or wear lipstick so thought I could do it in 3 minutes. I didn't realise how hard it was actually going to be and I was feeling shaky which made me laugh but overall the look turned out pretty ok and I thought I would share the products I used with you.

First off, for my base I used: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation in 10 with the Chanel pressed powder over the top and for my cheeks I used Elf's blush in Tickled Pink which has become one of my favourite blushes ever!

Then for eye shadow I chose again another one of my favourites from MAC called Jest which is a shimmery pinky colour which I think really brightens up the eye area. For mascara I used my trusty Maybelline 'The Rocket' for added volume and length. I've actually done a review of this mascara here, check it out <3

If you would like to watch me do my makeup in 3 minutes then here's the link, let  me know what you think of it and comment on this post or my youtube channel!

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!

All About Orange...

Hello lovelies!

I've never really been into bright orange colours and only venture out to corals but after watching a video from ..... I couldn't wait to get my hands on this amazing nail polish colour! It's from Nails Inc and is called 'Westbourne Grove'. I've been looking for it everywhere online and then thought I would check out ebay. I bought it for £5 including postage and for the length of time I'm actually going to be using it, I thought that was a great bargain!

It is one of their neon shades and is a nice holiday shade for the summer. They usually retail for around £11 I think but before paying full price I would definitely check out ebay, I tend to look for things that have only been tried once or never used.

I had to use 3 coats of this to get a full colour so the formula could of been better, but the colour completely pays off.

Have you guys tried it? Let me know what you think of Nails Inc polishes in general?

The Often-Neglected Beauty Products ♡

It seems to be a frequent occurance that I will buy the beauty products from my wishlist, use them a few times, put them away, they will go to the back of my drawers and I won't use them till I have a romage through my collection. I think I can vouch for most beauty bloggers/gurus that sometimes the packaging of a makeup item can draw you plus that the product looked great on someone else but not on you. I'm a neutral gal at heart and will only venture out to the occasional smokey eye but thats it.

After reading Anna's (from ViviannaDoesMakeup) blog post on the Oft-Neglected makeup bits, I thought I would do some digging out and find my re-love? for products I bought ages ago. The main reason for not using them is that I probably think I'll wear the colour to an 'event' or party but to be honest, I'm never usually that confident and happens once in a blue moon.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel - £30 - House of Fraser. This creamy textured bronzer was on my wishlist for forever and as you can see I haven't even touched it! I actually feel ashamed. I don't know whether the fact it is a cream consistency has put me off or whether my skills of contouring has but I've been recently using a powder bronzer which I have been loving so I'm finally going to give this a go. I will keep you updated!

Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light to Medium Bisque - £18 - Bobbi Brown Online or John Lewis. Last year some time, I saw Ingrid from MissGlamorazzi and a host of other beauty people raving about this under eye corrector with salmon undertones and got straight on that band wagon! Unfortunately I used it a couple times, really liked it but for some reason stopped using it and converted back to my Collection 2000 or is it Collection haha Lasting Perfection Concealer which didn't only do the job on concealing under my eyes but also blemishes etc. I have to say though, I definitely have got into taking more time on my makeup which means I have room for giving this another go.

YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 22 Exquisite Plum - £24.50 - Boots. I had been watching Elle from AllThatGlitters on Youtube and she kept going on about YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks but in pinky shades. I knew that I had enough highstreet/drugstore plus Mac nude lipsticks to last me a life time so thought just because I wanted to try this YSL formula I would choose a colour I hadn't heard about and be bold. Yes, great choice Ash. I tried it on at home, it completely washed my white complexion out and got thrown to the back of my lipstick drawer. If I fake tanned a bit or caught the sun (which never happens hence the fake tan comment) I think it would go really well with a simple eye and face look. So you may be seeing me wearing it this summer!

Topshop Blush in Crushed Berry - no longer available, (may be able to find on Ebay). This was a whim purchase last summer in the Topshop sale. I was getting into trying blushes and decided to go for THE craziest darkest blush colour there was plus to go for a cream consistency. But I have to say blended well into the cheeks really looks nice on my complexion so along with my YSL lipstick I think I will give them another go this summer with a tan. I have to say though I love the packaging and the Topshop makeup has really upped it's game. I have my eye on their eye crayons.

Mac Powder Blush in Prism - £17.50 - Mac Cosmetics. This is one of the first Mac blushes I bought as at the time, I was in the market for a blush colour which I could use which was basically as natural as I could get it. I had read and watched countless reviews on the Prism blush so was rather excited to get. It gives a lovely natural flush to the cheeks and goes well with my skin colour and freckles. Plus at the time, I was building up my Mac collection which I still am! To be honest, I don't know why I ever stopped using it.

I'm looking forward to using all of these neglected beauty products and I will keep you updated! Have you tried any of these products? Please leave a comment down below!

Real Techniques Buffing Brush ♡

Hello lovelies!
Around last year sometime, I came across a beauty video where they were hauling or using the Real Techniques brushes. When I found out they were actually from Samantha Chapman from Pixiwoo I couldn't believe it and just for the novelty I went out and bought their Core Collection! The foundation brush, tapered brush and small concealer brush didn't overly impress me as I have brushes very similar BUT the buffing brush is amazing. I only had to use it once to apply my foundation and I was sold.
The Core Collection is £20.99 and even just for the buffing brush I would have paid that. If I hadn't of had similar brushes to the other ones, I probably would of used them more regularly too.

The Real Techniques Buffing Brush is a staple tool in my makeup bag and since having this brush, no other brush comes close. The top of the brush is almost completely flat but has soft edges which means you can really 'buff' in your foundation and it makes my foundation and skin look flawless. Its a kabuki style brush with a longer handle basically.

The brush hairs never shed and compared to some of my Mac face brushes, the buffing brush is better for price and quality. They look really sleek too and you can tell the difference with the pink, purple and orange colours. I haven't purchased any single brushes from Real Techniques but the sets of brushes come with a nice black structured case which fits quite a few brushes in and I use that whenever I travel :)
I don't think I could say anything bad about this brush but that it only comes as a set of 4 which means you can't buy it individually. The next brush on my list to try is the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

Have you tried this brush or any other real techniques ones? I would love to hear what you thought about them!

Hope you found this informative!
