Best Drugstore Lip Balms Under £6!

I'm constantly hearing about high end lip balms with high end price tags and thought I would share 6 lip balms from the drugstore all under £6! You may be thinking: Why £6? 5 of the 6 are under £5 but the EOS lip balms are around £6 and couldn't not add it to the best of the drugstore lip balms.

Elf Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15 in Peaceful Pink £3.95 - To start things off, I went for the 3 in 1, conditioning lip balm from Elf which not only has SPF 15 which is perfect for the summer time but it has a pink tint to it - giving it a light wash of colour and nourishing your lips at the same time. You also get a luxury feel to the packaging with a small price point.

Topshop Lip Polish in Chiffon - £6 for 3 - I got this in a set of 3 in Topshop quite a while ago but they do similar now so definitely worth checking out. The shade isn't much to rave about - a nice normal pink yet the formula is creamy and has a slight shimmer. The pot is super cute and the lid has a mini mirror which is always a bonus!

The Body Shop Lip Butter in Sweet Lemon - £4 - I have always been a fan of The Body Shop, whether it's their shower gels, hemp hand cream or body butters, and when it comes to their lip butter range, I'm equally in love. Like the name suggests, the butteriness leaves your lips feeling nourished & soft.

Eos Lip Balm in Summer Fruits - £6 - When I first started watching American youtubers, the majority couldn't get enough of the EOS lip balms which made my beauty - obsessed brain go into crazy google search mode to find websites which shipped to the UK. After paying way too much for just one lip balm, it got delivered and I smothered that balm on and got my monies worth! It's still going strong and I only added the actual price in this blog as they are much easier to get your hands on than they were a few years ago.

Vaseline Lip Therapy - £2.18 - A lip care basic. It's clear, it does the job & has multiple other uses. You can get these in a variety of scents/colours.

The Body Shop Lip Balm in Satsuma £2 - A few posts ago, I mentioned my love for the shower gels from The Body Shop - well...I also collected the matching lip balms to go with the flavours. For price and performance on all scales of skin care, The Body Shop continue to surprise and out do the cheaper side of brands. I'm looking forward to trying out some of their new products too.

I'm always one for finding the bargain or best price on products which all do roughly the same thing - obviously higher end brands have extra benefits but for good overall lip balms under £6, I will definitely continue to use these.

What are your thoughts? Any suggestions on budget friendly lip balms?

  2. we've actually never tried any of these lip balms, but our lips are in serious need of TLC so we're going to have to give these a go.
